As a new partner, EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts has worked with ArtsSmarts to learn how to embrace the ArtsSmarts model as part of its educational programming. In 2008-09, EPCOR CENTRE's Arts Learning and Creative City programming departments developed a pilot project and partnered with St. Peter's School to team up a group of artists, teachers and students to create and promote multicultural content and artistic activity involving the school and community members. This pilot, along with other projects, are helping the Centre learn how to develop collaborations in the Calgary context.

EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts has offered arts integration programs for the last 10 years.  Our programs include professional development for teachers and artists and One Day Arts School (custom designed arts integration programs at the EPCOR CENTRE).  This year we will be offering an Artist Showcase and several professional development workshops, an Arts Educators Showcase and a forum to discuss collaboration between teachers and artists during Teacher's Convention.
