Research & Reports
For over 10 years, ArtsSmarts has
monitored the impact of its work in schools and communities across
Canada. Our research is focussed on generating new knowledge
on creativity, innovation and its impact on learning.
As a learning organization, ArtsSmarts practices collaborative
action research. Since 2006, we've worked with our 17
partners to develop research processes and tools to study how our
model works.
Today, ArtsSmarts' research studies the impact of ArtsSmarts
projects on student engagement and 21st century learning
skills.
Working within a framework of social innovation, we continually test ideas to demonstrate that shifting the conventional approach to teaching and learning results in improved student engagement, more robust school-community relationships and a stronger society.
